Myths & Legends

There are a number of myths and legends connected to Scotland, the most famous of these probably being the Loch Ness Monster, also known as Nessie! A number of other lochs, most of which are near Loch Ness, also claim to have their own monster, while many other tales of mythical creatures are told around the land.

There are also many stories of the supernatural and haunting, with every castle seemingly having its own ghost!

Another legend connected to Scotland is that of King Arthur, his famous Knights of the Round Table and the kingdom of Camelot. More infamous is the horrific tale of Sawney Bean and his family!
